<h2 class="text-center" style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline; font-family: "times new roman", times; font-size: large;">Activities</span></h2> <p> </p> <h3><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">Program Details:</span></h3> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">Day-1</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">12th August: Introduction / Orientation program on Anti-Ragging in room no. 206 from 12:30pm onwards.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">Program Schedule</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">Introduction by Prof. Debadyuti Karmakar: 12.30-12.50 pm</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">Welcome Address by Principal, Dr. Arnab Ghosh: 12.50-1 pm</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">Orientation program on Anti-Ragging: 1pm-1:40pm</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">The students were made aware of the UGC guidelines on Anti-ragging, the devastating consequences of ragging on students lives and the punishments for ragging. They were also made aware of complaints number and how to address a complaint. 93 students participated in the program.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">Day-2</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">13th August: Anti-Ragging workshop in room no. 206 from 3pm onwards.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">Anti-ragging workshop was conducted with 104 students where Smt.Sarbari Bhattacharya, joint asst. director (rtd.), Govt of West Bengal on identifying and reporting ragging incidents with suggestive communication and conflict resolution skills.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">Day-3</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">14th August: Screening of Anti-Ragging documentaries in room no. 206 from 1pm onwards.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">Screening of Anti-Ragging documentaries in UGC website in room no. 206 from 1pm onwards. 68 students participated in the program.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">Day-4</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">16th August: Poster making competition and certificate distribution from 1pm onwards in room no. 206.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">17th August: Identifying Anti-Ragging Yoddhas from 2pm onwards in room no. 206.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">7 students from semester –I were identified as Anti-ragging yoddhas (volunteers) who would address any grievance of fellow students with regards to any sort of bullying and sptread awareness in the college campus on anti-ragging.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: large; font-family: "times new roman", times;">34 students participated in the Poster making competition. 2 students jointly secured second and third positions respectively while one student became first. The judges were Ms.Rupa Chakraborty and Dr.Puja Biswas, faculties of P.C.M.M.</span></p>
