World Health Day was celebrated by Department of Food and Nutrition in collaboration with Health Cell and IQAC, PCMM on 23rd April,2024 at Room no. 010. The programme was conducted by Sem4 and Sem 6 Hons students of Department of Food and Nutrition. At first Sanjukta Singh, Sem 6Hons. elaborated on the importance of celebration of World Haealth Day. Then 8 healthy recipes were video demonstrated entitled"REFRESHING RECIPES TO BEAT SUMMER HEAT":

* Watermelon Punch: Salma Khatun, Manisha Rabidas, Bristy Bag, Monalisa Chakraborty* Mango Fizz: Parinita Chowdhury, Suparna Ghosh* Mango Bhapa: Ankita Seth* Muskmelon Lassi: Suddharag Biswas* Bel Shrikhand: Shubhajyoti Kundu* Gondoraj Mojito: Anubhab Basu, Md. Afif Mondal* Ice Tea: Sanjukta Singh* Naturelle Ice Cream: Satirtha Biswas

The second part of the celebration was a drama "MIYA" performed by Sem 4Hons. students. The topic was "Healthy food vs. Unhealthy food".

The programme saw a huge participation of 74 students, 21 teachers from all departments.Overall the programme  was successful.
